Scamper: I just love open windows on sunny days. I wish Momma would open them more often. She says it's too hot, but I think she's a wimp.


Quixote: I wish she would keep them open so I can stretch out an sun mah belleh. And I agree, Scamper. Momma doesn't appreciate the sun like we do.

While we enjoy the open windows, Momma will get started on the carnival...

Over at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life, they are celebrating adoptions of not only kittens, but some adult cats as well! This is great news...it is usually harder to find homes for adult felines. We are so happy that these cats have found forever homes.

We are amazed at the FNN special repurrt Nikita posted at Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat. This repurrt takes another look at PETA and examines a 5-part report on PETA and an alternative to PETA, Nathan Winograd & the No Kill Movement. We give this fourty-four paws up (4 X 11), which is high praise from the Meowers of Death.

Daddy Kiril also spots a feline family during one of his adventures in the neighborhood. Mom, pop, and some kittens have been spotted, though momma cat was none too happy and did not wish to say hello.


Winry: I like the sun, but I also love hearing the birdies and all the sounds outside. Seeing birdies is fun, but I like to hear them too!

Over at House of the Mostly Black Cats, Pepi says a special happy purrday to his best girlfriendcat Sabrina. Who says romance is dead? Not us!

Cokie the cat gives us the info on the upcoming BlogPaws conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is open to all animals as well as their owners. It sounds like a lot of fun and we encourage you to attend!

We enjoy a blast from the past at StrangeRanger with "vintage" pictures of Maddie from six years ago enjoying a good roll with her catnip squirrel. Nothing is fun like rolling around with some catnip!
